The designs of these book structures are based on historical models and techniques. This detail oriented and rewarding craft is often passed down from single teacher to single student in an apprentice setting, which is how Joelle learned from her Aunt. Books and boxes can be used in any room of the house. From personalized recipe books, to shadow boxes hung in the bathroom with collected shells, to family albums in the living room.
