Michael Hoy Woodworking is a two person shop operating in Solon, Maine. Here in the rural landscape of central Maine, renewal and permanence go hand in hand, inspiring us to create beautiful furniture that will last for generations,and whose patina will deepen with the passing years. We begin in the kitchen because in our house the kitchen is the focal point. It is our gathering place where we cook, have meals, do homework, laugh, and spend hours talking with friends. We build solid pieces designed for pounding, chopping, and other heavy work, while affirming clean lines, grace, and elegance.
