Judy Tripp
Tripp Sculptures
Judy Tripp hand carves wood utensils and bowls from domestic hardwoods such as cherry and maple. Most are one-of-a-kind with an emphasis on balance and design. She is now creating a new dimension by painting the handles of some of the utensils with environmentally safe milk paint. All her utensils and bowls are treated with food-safe natural oils and beeswax.
Judy also sculpts shorebirds from both domestic and exotic hardwoods. These creations are not intended to be " biologically correct" but are crafted with an artistic view to show the natural beauty of the subject with the grain of the wood.
